Swedish Progressive Rock band Samla Mammas Manna were, together with Univers Zero, Henry Cow, etc the founders of Rock In Opposition. A music movement in the 70s who were unpleased in how the Music Industry treated unmarketable and unconventional music projects. This is Samla Mammas Manna's debut album, and it combines ingenious proficient instrumentation with a variety art-ish concept, and sometimes features silly vocals and lyricism. These combinations have made that certain people compare it to Frank Zappa.
